Shiny Happy Things: Summer Sequins

While we most often see sequins and shine around the holidays, this year there is a whole lot of sparkle for summer that has caught my attention. As much as daytime sequins have been a thing for quite some time, it isn't alway easy to find great things year round. Lucky for you, I fell down the shiny happy rabbit hole in search of shimmer, shine and sequins. I have chosen some of my favorite pieces that you can wear from errands to work to a special occasion event. You choose! Take a look at my favorite pieces to help you sparkle all summer long.

Stopping in at one of my favorite local shops, Queen Anne Dispatch, is always a day brightener. Today I happened to pop in just as they were opening boxes full of Traffic People gorgeousness. I am a major mood for sparkle, so I also took home the Fallon Pleasted Midi Dress that has chic pleats and metallic flecks. Stop in and check all the fabulous Traffic People!

Zara has so much coming out right now that I love. This look would be gorgeous for a black tie event, wedding or special party. The Zara Sequin Mini Dress is a show stopper. The Limited Edition Summer Dress Collection '19 is definitely worth a look, with a really outstanding selection of cool dresses.

As long as we are shopping at Zara, the Strappy Dress with Sequins was a must have for me. I will be wearing it with a fitted white tee in the day and jazz it up with a pair of great heels, like the ones above, for evening.

When you are in Paris, you literally will see hundreds of French women of all ages carrying this bag.
